Actor who played a flesh-eating zombie role in 'The Walking Dead' movie jailed for biting fan

An actor who played a flesh-eating zombie in The Walking Dead has been jailed after biting a fan he dated.

American actor Michael Mundy, 52, started dating Beverly Jackson, 41, after they met at a horror convention in the UK.


He was placed behind bars after being convicted of assaulting her.

After they met eight years ago, they stayed in touch and eventually started dating.

Mundy was handed a jail term last November after being convicted of assault and was also slapped with a restraining order to stop him from going near Jackson.

He was sent back to jail in February for breaching the terms of the order.

Jackson told The Sun : "I fell for him. Initially he was very charming and promised to help me get into films. But he became more and more abusive."

Mundy is due to be released from HMP Liverpool in the coming months.

As well as appearing in The Walking Dead in 2011 and 2012, he also had a role in Hollywood movie Flight with Denzel Washington.
