Donald Trump is already talking to aides about how he would celebrate his acquittal by senate - New report reveals

Trump is being tried in the senate over allegations of abuse of power and obstruction of congress after he allegedly withdrew military aid to Ukraine in exchange for an investigation into his political rival - Joe Biden in a July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukraine's president Zelensky.

According to a report by Politico, White House aides have been discussing with Trump on the possibility of him addressing the nation from the Oval Office to mark his presumed acquittal by the Republican controlled Senate.

'The president is giving a lot of thought to where he goes when he is acquitted and vindicated,' one senior administration official said to Politico.
'This isn't a one-and-done moment.'
'This will be a sustained exit from a long dreary impeachment process and a great reset to 2020 — not just the 2020 reelection but the 2020 domestic and international arena,' the official continued.

Trump's defence team is led by White House Council Pat Cipollone and the president's personal attorney Jay Sekulow.

Trump's plans to celebrate his assumed acquittal by the senate emerged as Trump hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the White House as he prepares to unveil his new Middle East peace plan.
