Nigeria’s immediate past Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, narrowly escaped being beaten in Austria, recently, after some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, disrupted a meeting he was presiding over.
Onyeama was reportedly holding a meeting at the Nigerian Embassy, in Vienna, Austria, when a group of young men stormed the venue carrying the flag of Biafra.
They wasted no time in hurling insults at the Minister and criticising the Nigerian Government. Onyeama, sensing trouble, quickly left the area.
