Buhari Arrives in London After Departing from New York, to Spend 4 Days Before Returning to Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari who departed the United States on Thursday, has arrived in London, the United Kingdom capital, and will spend four days before returning to Nigeria.
President Muhammadu Buhari departed New York for London after checking out of the Millennium Hilton Hotel, New York, at exactly 08:07 a.m local time.
 
The president who was officially accompanied to the airport by the Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nations, Prof Tijjani Bande, departed the John F Kennedy International Airport at 10:00a.m.
 
Meanwhile, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says President Muhammadu Buhari will spend only four days in London after which he will return to Nigeria, though he did not state the reason for Buhari’s visit to the UK.
 
Responding to an inquiry via a text message from Punch newspaper, the President’s spokesman said, “We just landed in London. The President is in transit; to be back in Nigeria on Monday.”
 
Recall that President Buhari had spent about 160 non-consecutive days in London for medical treatment this year.
