Governor Akeredolu Makes New Political Appointments...See Details

The Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has made new political appointments to his government.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state has approved the new appointments in his government. Donald Ojogo has been appointed as the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy Governor.
 
This was revealed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Segun Ajiboye in a statement on Monday said.  Ojogo who is a seasoned journalist, attended University of Lagos, where he obtained Bachelors and Masters Degrees in History and Strategic Studies.
 
He started his journalism career in The Guardian Newspaper.
 
He later worked in other media houses including Nigerian Tribune, Daily Independent, Leadership and New Telegraph. Between 2007 and 2009, Ojogo also served as Press Secretary to Governor of Ondo State.
 
Before his appointment, Ojogo was a Senior Technical Adviser (Policy/Media) to the Minister of State for Agriculture. Other appointments approved in the office of the Deputy Governor are:
 
1. LEKE AKEREDOLU as DEPUTY CHIEF PRESS SECRETARY
 
2. AUGUSTINE PELEMO as SPECIAL ASSISTANT (POLITICAL)
 
3. BAYO OLOMU as SPECIAL ASSISTANT (SPECIAL DUTIES)
 
4. SAMUEL OGUNMUSI as PERSONAL ASSISTANT. 
 
All the appointments take immediate effect.
