Okada, tricycle riders, police clash in Ijora

Suspected riders of motorcycles and tricycles today, protested their ban by the Lagos State Government. During the protest in Ijora, the riders reportedly clashed with police officers.


It was learnt that the clash occurred when the police officers attempted to stop the protest.

During the protest, which started around 8.21 am, the protesters blocked the road and burned tyres.

The Lagos State Government on February 1st banned movement of okadas and kekes in some areas of the state.
