The popular online medium, Ibadan Media has perfected plans to stage another edition of the talk-about Award event tagged the 60 MOST INFLUENTIAL BRAND & PEOPLE IN 2019′.
This was disclosed to newsmen in Ibadan by the chairman of the media outfit, Olanrewaju Ola where he unveiled the plans for 3rd edition of Award event.
The statement read “In the year 2017, we started this laudable initiative by appreciating some selected people who have been trying on their own to make things happened in the city of Ibadan also those who have been supportive in one way or the other and some change angels behind the new city of Ibadan. We presented a special photo gallery of the 50 most influential youths in the city of Ibadan in Dec. 2017.
” In 2018 was another remarkable year, as we improved on the influential lists based on some concerned people critics and comments, we enriched the list with more value-added people, we offered another special photo gallery of the another 60 greatest influential personalities in the city of Ibadan with an awards presentation.
The event which was held at Plat’num club, Awolowo, Ibadan early this year with some notable personalities in attendance which includes Nollywood superstar, Lateef Adedimeji, Nollywood luminary, Mrs. Titi Jeje popularly known as Jaiye Kuti, Segun Ogundipe popularly known as Lafup, the grand comedian federal republic of Nigeria, Rotimi Martins a.k.a Alariwo of Africa,
Also in attendance includes Mr Leye Fabusoro, CEO Rare Edge Media and popular TV program, Awon Aladun De among others and Awon Aladun De crew, Muyiwa Babalola, CEO Able TV & Able 2 Production, Popular gospel artist, Babatunmise among many other popular and highly valued important personalities.
This year’s edition will be funalicious event as we have taken another step further by introducing another awards plaque thats describe more about the city which the award represents. He stressed further that there is a compilation list of companies and brands’ for our latest list of 60 MOST INFLUENTIAL BRANDS AND PERSONALITIES recommendations for 2019. Of course, only 60 of them can be chosen but certainly, all are worthy.”
Ola, the Ibadan Media CEO also explained that the team of professionals that constituted the selection committee are carefully working on the shortlisting of the 60 recipients, that are expected to draw from a diverse field of endeavours basically from the city of Ibadan.
Among the quality people that will would we conferred will come from various categories within the capital city of Oyo State from; Music and Entertainment, Politics, Business and Entrepreneurs’, Sports, Journalists and Media, Influencers’ and Contributors to the growth of the City, NGO’s etc. Different people from these categories will be awarded on December 15th this year 2019.
He also reveals that some of the activities for this year’s edition is to have Fashion Show, we hereby use this medium to invite all the people in the fashion industry to register for the fashion show on the event day. We also call on the company for sponsorship as we promise them to return on their investment as we plan to have more than 1000 people in attendance for this event. He concluded
