Another injured FUOYE student dies after clash with police

of the Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) who was among those injured during the clash between protesting students of the institution and the police on Tuesday September 10, has been confirmed dead. 

The 300-level student of the department of Biology Education also said to be the Social Director of Faculty of Education Students Association, was hit by a stray bullet while walking on the streets.

He reportedly died in the early hours of Wednesday, September 11 after being rushed to the Federal Medical Center in Ido, Ekiti State. Okonofua's death was confirmed by the Students Union President, Oluwaseun Awodola. 

The Nation reported that he is the second dead victim of the clash with the police which occurred during Ekiti State's First Lady, Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi's return from touring some local governments in the state.
