Whoopi Goldberg reveals she cannot drive anymore due to failing eyesight

American actress and talk show host, Whoopi Goldberg has revealed she can't drive herself anymore due to failing eyesight.

The 63-year-old disclosed this on The View on Monday while chatting with Stuber stars Kumail Nanjiani and Dave Bautista, as they spoke on their Uber ratings.

Goldberg said that she doesn't use Uber because she has a driver, since she is not allowed to drive anymore.

'I have a driver. The reason I have a driver is because I am not allowed to drive,' Whoopi said on The View. 

'My sight is not good enough, people get nervous when I get behind the wheel. So, I am not allowed to really drive.'

Kumail then joked, 'I believe in you. I believe you can drive!' with Whoopi then breaking into a parody of R. Kelly's I Believe I Can Fly by stating 'I believe I can drive.'  

This comes months after Goldberg went through quite the health scare, with doctors admitting she had a 1 in 3 chance of dying. At that time she was admitted to the hospital with double pneumonia and sepsis.
