Container-laden Truck Falls Off Ijora Bridge

A container threatened the lives and properties of Lagosians today causing people to be thrown into panic mode.

 

The accident scene

 

An articulated truck laden with containers fell off a portion of the Ijora bridge unto another layer of the bridge.

 

In the process, it dislodged the containers it was carrying. No life was lost from the accident.

 

The indefatigable team from the LASEMA Response Unit (LRU)  was on ground to salvage the situation.

 

They made a recovery of the affected truck together with the containers.
