The immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has revealed the solution to the myriads of problems confronting Nigeria.
Fayose, in a Christmas goodwill message by his Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi, said obedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ is the solution to problems facing the nations.
He noted that Jesus’ teachings centered on loving one’s neighbour as oneself, tolerance, obedience to the authority and the law, and sacrifice.
The former governor said had Nigerian leaders and followers adhered to these teachings, Nigeria would not be in the mess that it was in.
“For us to be great as a nation, we must not only imbibe these qualities but we must also put them into use,” Fayose said.“The teachings of Jesus Christ are the solution to all problems, such as poverty, killings, kidnappings, bad governance, armed robbery, unemployment and economic stagnation which the country is facing currently.
