'I taught Davido and B-red how to Sing and Dance' - Senator Ademola Adeleke lailasnews

Senator Ademola Adeleke said he is not surprised with their success in music, because since they were kids they’ve always loved music

Nigeria’s dancing Senator Ademola Adeleke, known for his ‘not so common’ moves, in a brief interview with Goldmyne TV, disclosed that he taught his son, B-red and nephew, Davido how to sing and dance.

Senator Ademola Adeleke, a Nigerian professor and Senator-Elect representing osun-west senatorial district in the red chamber, said in the interview;

“Davido is my nephew and B-red is my son. I’m not surprised with their success in music since they were kids, they’ve always loved music, I taught them how to sing and dance, it’s in the blood”.

The Nigerian Senator who was born in Enugu, ran for the by-election after the death of his brother emerging as the winner under the People’s Democratic Party and replacing Late Isiaka Adeleke’s vacant office left as a result of his death.

In an interview with Vanguard in 2017, he disclosed that dancing is part of him and that he enjoys dancing. According to him, when he moved to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he also continued with his steps to make campaigns very lively.

“If you go to most campaigns, it is so dry but when you put in an interlude where you dance it becomes interesting where you dance and laugh. As a matter of fact, I became the face of the campaign, without me there is no campaign. So, now that they messed up and i moved to my former party the PDP and they are now using it against me that i am dancing. I even danced with my daughter and they never knew it was my daughter and they were using it against me but i said hey, she is my daughter, you have to be close to your children. I dance to enjoy myself. Everybody dances,” he said.

The senator however stressed that he will not only be remembered in the Senate for his dance steps but that he will be remembered for delivering because he has already set up machineries in motion to deliver democracy dividend to his constituents.
