8 Die, 420 Test Positive For COVID-19

The NCDC has confirmed eight COVID-19 related deaths and 420 new COVID-19 cases.



Data released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) showed that the country’s death toll has jumped to 3,085.

Confirmed COVID cases have also increased to 248,732.

Lagos State reported 103 cases to rank the first on the log, followed by Kwara with 90 cases and Akwa-Ibom with 49.

FCT reported 39 cases; Kano State, 33; Rivers, 31, while Cross River and Ogun states reported 17 cases each.

Kaduna State reported 15 cases, Edo 11 and Niger state nine cases.

NCDC also reported that 482 people were discharged after they have recovered from the infection.
