Three Oyo Travellers Land In Hospital After Ordeal In Kidnappers Den

It was gathered that three out of the four abducted residents of Ibadan later regained their freedom but with injuries.

As many as four people were abducted along Ibadan-Ijebu Ode Road in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital on Wednesday morning, according to SaharaReporters.

SaharaReporters gathered that three out of the four abducted residents of Ibadan later regained their freedom but with injuries.

Our correspondent reports that the families and friends of the abductees were on a radio station, crying for government support.

SaharaReporters learnt that the abductees were going from Ijebu Ode to Ibadan when the gunmen stopped them and took them into the bush.

One of those who reported the matter on radio said, "Three out of them have regained freedom but injured; they are now at hospital. One of them is still with them. They stopped them while returning to Ibadan from Ijebu Ode this morning.

"The only man in their custody is the bread winner of the family. He must not be killed. (Governor Seyi) Makinde should help us intervene now before it is too late."
