Death Row Records co-founder, Michael 'Harry-O' Harris pardoned by President Trump

Death Row Records co-founder, Michael 'Harry-O Harris is among the dozens of individuals who were granted clemency by President Donald Trump in his final hours in the office.

Harris, now 58, was convicted of attempted murder and kidnapping in 1988 and jailed at a Federal Correctional Facility in Lompoc. He is set to be released from the California federal prison after 32 years behind bars.

News of his pardon from Trump comes after a last-ditch effort by Alice Johnson, who became a criminal justice reform advocate after Trump pardoned her life sentence two-and-a-half years ago. She also worked with rapper Snoop Dogg and Weldon Angelos, another former prisoner pardoned by Trump to help secure Harris' release.
