COVID-19: Governor Fintiri of Adamawa state orders immediate closure of schools in the state

Public and private schools in Adamawa state have been ordered to end the first term on December 18 and go on vacation immediately.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri issued the directive in a statement released on his behalf by his Press Secretary,  Mr Humwashi Wonosikou. 

The statement reads; 

 

“This is to allow school children go home early for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

“The schools are to resume for the second term on Jan. 11, 2021."
