 A woman who survived the onslaught against protesters by men of the Nigerian Army has shared her own story.

A survivor who was among those shot by soldiers at Lekki toll gate has debunked reports by the Nigerian Army that soldiers didn't shoot at protesters.

 

In an interview with AFP, the survivor shared details of what happened at Lekki toll gate last week Tuesday.

 

She said she hasn’t been able to sleep for a week and at first wanted just “to stay hidden”.

But this survivor of the shooting of peaceful Nigerian protesters at Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos last week said she realised that she had to speak out.
