In what seems like the final battle and the survival of the fittest among the major contenders in the ruling party, the acting national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Victor Giadom, has canceled the screening for the Edo state governorship primary. Channels TV reports that Giadom explained that he has taken over based on a previous court order empowering him to do so.
he has the backing of the members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) in his new decision. This comes after the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Tuesday, June 16, affirmed the suspension of Adams Oshiomole as a member and national chairman of the APC.
