Alhaji Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao On This : Fully Supported Ibadan North Residents With Food Items, Cash Gifts, Sanitizers

A former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, Alhaji Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, has distributed various food items, cash gifts, and sanitizers to residents of Ibadan North local government.

According to him, the need to give palliatives to the people of the community is based on his findings that the rate of poverty is high and the downtrodden people need succor to reduce the negative impact of the partial lockdown in the state on them.

“Subsequently on our findings on the rate of poverty in our communities, we went out in our own little ways to give palliatives to the good people of Ibadan North local government most especially the aged and the downtrodden who feed on daily earnings. Since we are into partial lockdown and understanding that most of these people would need succor.
“We have decided to share food items, Hand sanitizer and money to help cushion the effects of this lockdown on their survival.
“We hope to do more than this but we can only plan according to the limited available resources and we pray God provides more for you and your households in this trying time.
“I, Alhaji Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, will still urge you all to please strictly adhere to the safety guidelines put in place by the World Health Organisation and the National Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) so that we can collectively flatten this curve and smile again in good health,” he said
