Woman Who Was Burnt To Death Along With Her Child In The Onitsha Tanker Fire Has Been Identified

The woman who was burnt to death along with her child in the horrific Onitsha fire incident has been identified.

The identity of the woman who got burnt to death along with her child in the Wednesday fire accident in Onitsha, has been revealed.


It will be recalled that a huge fire outbreak ravaged the Ochanja market in Onitsha when a tanker exploded in the area. Many shops were destroyed and some people died including the woman and her child.

According to reports, the woman has now been identified as Ifeoma Nwoye from Umuife village in Urum community, Awka-North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Her very sad death caused an outpouring of grief around the nation.
