A thief has been beaten to a pulp after he was nabbed by security operatives around Otefe-Oghara, Delta state.

A serial thief operating around Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara has been beaten mercilessly after he was caught by vigilantes on duty.
It was gathered that the thief was intercepted him after an operation with his loot.
The thief who identified himself simply as Aruoture had successfully robbed students off their laptops, phones and personal belongings when he ran into the vigilante members and was nabbed.
On questioning, the thief gave in to pressure and confessed to the crime which prompted the vigilantes to parade him after rearranging his face with severe beating.
As at press time, it was gathered that the severely beaten Aruoture has been handed over to the police for prosecution.
