High profile drug dealers arrested in Borno

A joint operation by the Borno state police command and operatives of Operation Puff Ader has led to the arrest of 17 suspected high profile drug dealers in the state. 

The police recovered leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, suck and die, hard drug Drazzapan and a Shisha smoker pot from the suspects who were paraded before newsmen. 

“You can see the exhibit, the number of dry leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, suck and die in large quantity, hard drug Drazzapan, Shisha smoker pot that is being used nowadays to smoke the dry leaves as if it were the actual shisha smoking ingredients,” the state's police commissioner, Mohammded Ndatsu said. 

Members of a forgery syndicate were also paraded before journalists. Fake appointment letters purportedly from NNPC, NPS and other government agencies were recovered from the suspects who promise unsuspecting members of the public job appointments in exchange for a huge amount of money. 

“We arrested forgers and cheaters who specialize in issuing fake appointment letters and collecting a huge sum of money. Some were gotten with fake NIPOST, NNPC appointment letters. Francis Josiah, Gideon Ndanga 32 years are from Borno State" the police boss added.
