Resign from your position now, Timi Frank will eat you for breakfast- FFK to Osinbajo

Resign from your position now, Timi Frank will eat you for breakfast- FFK to Osinbajo

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, has called on Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to tender his resignation immediately. FFK made the call while reacting to the Vice President's declaration of his readiness to waive his constitutional immunity to enable the law enforecement agencies investigate the ''several baseless allegations, insinuation and falsehoods leveled against his person and office by Timi Frank and one Katch Ononuju''.

Recall that Timi Frank, a former deputy spokesperson of APC, had alleged that the seeming faceoff between Osinbajo and members of President Buhari's inner caucus, is as a result of his inability to account for the N90billion received from the Federal Inland Revenue Service for the 2019 election. FIRS has since denied giving Osinbajo N90 billion.

The Vice President via his verified twitter handle, last night tweeted that he will be waiving his immunity to enable the appropriate agencies investigate the allegation. Osinbajo also announced plans to take legal action against Timi Frank.

Reacting to Osinbajo’s declaration, FFK said the vice president should not only waive his immunity but should also resign from his position to prove his innocence and challenge Timi Frank who he believes would have the Vice President for breakfast. Posting via his verified Twitter handle, FFK wrote
“If you are really a man don’t just waive your immunity to sue Timi Frank but RESIGN from your position and take him on man to man.
“He will eat you for breakfast. I know that young man: he is a real Ijaw! Deeply courageous and tough as nails. You cannot intimidate him or break him.”
