SERAP To Makinde: Invite Us To Verify Your Over N48b Assets

A transparency, accountability and advocacy group, Socio-Economic Rights & Accountability projects has called on Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde to invite the organisation to verify the assets he declared at the Code of conduct Bureau(CCB) which he made public on Monday.

Makinde had yesterday made a public declaration of his assets worth more than N45bn plus cash, buildings and bonds.

Newspeakonline quoted SERAP in a post on its Twitter handle as applauding the governor’s  bold move and commitment to transparency.

It, however, said it  has a team of volunteers that is capable of verifying these assets and would appreciate the governor’s  public invitation authorising it to carry out the verification exercise.
