Former Nigerian international, Segun Odegbami has called on Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr to step down from the national team.

Odegbami was reacting after the Eagles’ loss to Algeria in the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.

The ex-international who scored two goals when Nigeria defeated the Desert Foxes at the final of the 1980 AFCON hosted in the country said the Eagles did not deserve to win the game.

“Their performance was pedestrian. They did not deserve to win the match or AFCON 2019.

"Gernot Rohr has served his time. He should go honourably after the championship,”
 he told Sports Extra.
