Former Premier League champions, Chelsea have reacted to forward, Eden Hazard joining Real Madrid.
DAILY POST had reported on Friday night that Real Madrid officially confirmed a deal for Hazard from Chelsea.
Hazard will be officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player on Thursday, June 13.
Chelsea took to their official Twitter page, @ChelseaFC, to wish Hazard goodluck at his new club, Real Madrid.
“Seven incredible years. One of Chelsea’s greatest, this is @HazardEden10’s story. Six trophies. 352 appearances. 110 goals. #ThankYouEden,” Chelsea twitted alongside a video of Hazard on action for the Blues.
“The stats are sublime. The player is sublime. We have reached an agreement for the transfer of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid.
“We would like to wish Eden well as we say a fond goodbye. On the pitch and off the pitch, a true gentleman and a Chelsea legend #ThankYouEden,” the CLub wrote.
