Nigerians react after Naira Marley and other celebrities defended "Yahoo boys"

Nigerians have taken to Facebook to react after Naira Marley and other celebrities went online to strongly defend internet scam.

The Yahoo Yahoo controversy all began after singer Naira Marley took to Instagram to glorify internet scam, writing: "If you know about slavery you go know say yahoo no be crime."
The singer was suggesting that internet scam is the black man's revenge for slavery.
Tunde Ednut and Ruggedman criticized Naira Marley for his comment but other male celebrities like Davido and Zlatan defended him.
Tunde Ednut wrote: "Okay, Naira Marley, This is wrong!!! You should not be passing such messages."
But Davido replied: "Nobody holy."
Naira Marley replied to Tunde, writing: "@tundeednut u collect money from yahoo boy to do give away. U collect money from them to post. Ur now telling me what’s wrong."
And Zlatan said in defence of Naira Marley: "Anybody wey don chop Yahoo boy money wey they here they preach na God go punish the person."
Nigerians have now reacted. While a number of Twitter users criticized the bulk of our male Nigerian singers for glorifying fraud, others defended them.
