IBADAN KILLING: Arapaja Rearrested, Spends Day 6 In Abuja

Unknown to many, a leader of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and former deputy governor of Oyo State, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, is spending his 5th with the Police at an ‘unknown’ destination in Abuja.

Monsuru Amusat had been allegedly been gunned down by hoodlums, who later went away with already filled ballot box at Arapaja’s polling booth in his family compound, Kudeti, in Ibadan South-East Local Government.
We had reported how Arapaja was arrested by the police and whisked to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Iyaganku, Ibadan. He was released 48 hours after.
But, last Friday, the police whisked him away to an unknown destination in Abuja with family and political supporters, describing the development as “political persecution”
