Bayo Adelabu Congratulates Buhari, Charges Residents To Vote For APC Next Week

Bayo Adelabu Congratulates Buhari, Charges Residents To Vote For APC Next Week

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari for his re-election at Saturday’s election.
Bayo Busari, spokesperson for Friends of Bayo Adelabu Campaign Organisation (FOBACO), stated this in a message released on behalf of the the Guber candidate.

The Parakoyi of Ibadanland, who commended the electorate for voting peacefully, charged voters in the State to come out in large number next week Saturday to again vote for him and all candidates of APC for the state House of Assembly elections.

“It is by voting for APC in the forthcoming state elections that will further guarantee optimal growth for the state. Being in the opposition will be antithetical to our development agenda for Oyo State.

“I, therefore, appeal to the electorate in the state to vote for APC and all its candidates,” Adelabu said.

On Buhari’s victory, he added that the re-election of President Buhari was a manifestation of the confidence that Nigerians have in his ability and capacity to drive the country to the next level.

“It’s now clear that Nigerians are not oblivious of the achievements that the administration has recorded in the past three and a half years.

“This is an impetus to do more and I know that the president and his vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo are passionate about the Nigerian project and how to make a success of it.

“I also congratulate all the members of the National Assembly elected on the platform of the party and I charge them to give the president all necessary support when the assembly is inaugurated,” the statement said.

“The task of rebuilding the country from the ruins of previous administrations requires concerted efforts and cooperation of all stakeholders,” Adelabu said.
