My Ambition Is To Move Oyo Forward – Adelabu

The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, said he has intense desire to move the state forward in all facets and on all fronts.
Adelabu who gave the assurance at a private radio station in Ibadan, enthused that his administration would provide for all irrespective of age, status, religion, ethnic and/or political considerations.

According to him, he would improve the education sector by recruiting fresh teachers and provide added value to the life of teachers. He moved on to dispel the rumour that he would sack workers, stressing that his government won’t engage in any act capable of adversely affecting the masses.

On Agriculture, Adelabu explained that the sector will witness radical changes and establishment of new farm settlements to encourage the youths to embrace agriculture. The APC governorship candidate stated that he would provide essential commodities in all the farm settlements buttressing his claim with the facilities at Alagutan Farm Settlement.

Adelabu also assured pensioners that his administration would pay their pensions and gratuities for retiring civil servants. This, among other areas touching health, the economy and socio-economic development.

Adelabu debunked rumours that he would phase out non-indigent number plates from the Oyo state’s roads, saying, “what we basically want to do is to encourage our people to go for our number plates so that we can have funds to develop our state. It is just a patriotic call. We are the pacesetter state and it is imperative to remain so “.

He therefore, admonished voters in the state to vote massively for the APC in the coming election.
