The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai,
has lost his elder brother, retired AVM Aliyu Ahmed El-Rufai. The late AVM died at the age of 71.
A family source who confirmed the death, said that the late AVM died in the early hours of Saturday, at a Hospital, in Abuja, after a protracted illness.
The source added that the late AVM is survived by a wife and six children, and that his Janaza will take place at Sultan Muhammad Bello Mosque, Kaduna, after the Assar prayers, as arrangements are being made to convey his remains to Kaduna, today.
