God Punished Salah With Injury For Breaking Fast – Islamic Cleric

A devout Muslim, Salah initially claimed that he was going to continue fasting during the build up to the final, but a club physiotherapist confirmed that he would change his plans after speaking to the club nutritionist.

Muslim’s are allowed to break their fast for travel purposes, but Kuwaiti preacher Mubarak al-Bathali has slammed the Egyptian, blaming him for his own injury.

The preacher has claimed that Salah sinned by breaking his fast for the match itself, rather than the journey from Britain to Ukraine, which was “not a legitimate excuse”.
