PDP Race: Ladoja, Adedoja, 6 Other ‎National Chairmanship Aspirants Nominate 48 For Convention Panel‎

Former Oyo governor, Rasheed Ladoja and former Minister of Sports and Special Duties, Professor Taoheed Adedoja, are among the eight national chairmanship aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party that submitted names of their nominees to serve in the convention committee to the national leadership of the party.

According to PUNCH, each of the aspirants was said to have submitted six names that would serve in the committee.
Members of the committee are expected to be unveiled in Abuja next Wednesday after the meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee.
The chairmanship aspirants are Chief Olabode George, Chief Gbenga Daniel, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, Prince Uche Secondus, Prof.Taoheed Adedoja, Prof. Tunde Adeniran and Mr. Jimi Agbaje.
The committee is expected to have sub-committees such as accreditation and  publicity, finance.
Adeniran, who confirmed the nomination to PUNCH in an interview said each of the aspirants had been directed to nominate representatives to the committee.
“Yes, we have made nominations. They are there already,” Adeniran said.
